Honoka Tsuchiya, the reigning cheerleader who won the Grand Prix at the “2019 Miss Japan” Tokyo pageant, updated her Instagram. Honoka shared a photo with her younger sister, Tao Tsuchiya, and reported that she celebrated her 30th birthday on August 26, 2022.

Honoka wrote of her gratitude to those involved and expressed her aspirations, “I will try my best to be a wonderful woman!” Honoka showed a photo taken with Tao, saying, “I don’t have many private photos, so I took the most recent one at Jingu Stadium, the place where I have fond memories of my youth when I was a university student.” Although they are both wearing masks, you can see the resemblance around their eyes.

Honoka is the first grand prix winner of the “2019 Miss Japan” Tokyo pageant.

Honoka was born on August 26, 1992 in Tokyo. Her younger sister is Tao Tsuchiya, an actress, and her younger brother is Shinba Tsuchiya, a voice actor. During her time at Meiji University, she was a cheerleader for the JESTERS, a baton and cheerleading club that belonged to the Meiji University Cheering Squad. After graduation, she worked for Fujitsu Limited and was a member of the Frontierlets, the cheerleading squad of the Fujitsu Frontiers. Currently, she is a cheerleader for the Blue Thunders, an American football team in the second division of the X-League, while working as an entertainer.

Honoka is the first grand prix winner of the 2019 Miss Japan Tokyo pageant. In addition to that, she has many talents, such as a master dancer of Japanese dance, and a certified athlete food meister.
