Dean Fujioka, an actor, singer-songwriter, and film director, is highly interested in food drive activities and the protection of endangered species, and is involved in various charity activities. He recently visited Komodo National Park in Indonesia, where he took a photo with Varanus komodoensis, one of the world’s largest lizards, and posted it on Instagram, creating a buzz. Varanus komodoensis, said to be one of the world’s largest lizards, is also called Komodo dragon because of its dinosaur-like appearance and is designated as an endangered species.

Dean Fujioka and Taneya Co. have jointly developed yokan, and coffee used in the yokan will go to a donation drive.
Dean Fujioka will release “Dean Fuji Yokan” on September 19, 2022, which was jointly developed by Dean Fujioka and Tanaya Co. Dean, a coffee lover, was particular about the coffee sauce. A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of the coffee used to make this coffee sauce will be used to help protect the forests where endangered orangutans live.

Dean is involved in food drive activities in which he donates surplus food at home to facilities, welfare organizations, and food banks. In an Instagram update on September 6, he reported that he had donated food collected through his fan club “FamBam” to a facility in Indonesia.
