YOSHIKI celebrated his 58th birthday!

YOSHIKI, one of Japan’s leading world-class drummers & pianists, celebrated his birthday on November 20

X JAPAN leader, drummer & pianist YOSHIKI celebrated his 58th birthday on November 20. YOSHIKI updated his official SNS “X” and thanked everyone regarding his birthday wishes with the following comment.
“I can’t write it all down. Thanks everyone for the birthday messages.”

YOSHIKI engraved handprints and footprints for the first time in Japan in Hollywood, U.S.A.

It is impossible to describe his achievements in a single sentence. In recent years, YOSHIKi made history by becoming the first Asian and the first Japanese to have his handprint and footprint engraved in the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, USA, in September 2023.


He is well-known for composing the theme song for the Golden Globe Awards in 2012, and he is recognized as a world-class rock star for his achievements in entertainment through music.

First world tour in 9 years, “YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 10th Anniversary World Tour with Orchestra 2023 ‘REQUIEM'”

In October 2023, he embarked on his first classical world tour in 9 years as a solo artist.
He performed at the 150-year-old Royal Albert Hall in England, the Dolby Theatre, known as the venue for the Academy Awards ceremony, and the New York’s Carnegie Hall, the world’s musical hall of fame.

YOSHIKI performed concerts at all three historic venues in the U.K. and the U.S. He was the first Japanese to conquer all three.

On the day after his birthday, YOSHIKI will give a three-day concert for his project “THE LAST ROCKSTARS”. We can’t take our eyes off of him any longer.
