Angelo was formed by KIRITO, KOHTA, and TAKEO after the breakup of PIERROT. They started their activities with a free gig performance “The creature was reborn out of hades” at Yoyogi outdoor stage on October 4, 2006, and released their first single “REBORN” on November 8 of the same year.
Karyu (ex-D’espairsRay) and Giru (ex-Vidoll) joined the band in August 2011. From 2007 to 2021, they released an album every year. The band went on an indefinite hiatus after their 2-day concerts at Yoyogi Daini Gymnasium on January 15 and 16, 2022.
